Taylor Shores and his wife Sonja have created one of the largest gutter installation companies in Washington called High Point Gutter. Having generated $4.4M in 2023, the business is now expected to bring in $6M by the end of this year– all by learning how to install gutters.

Having worked 100 hours every week for a roofing company, only $35 in his checking account and his first daughter on the way, he knew he wanted to be able to do more. Taylor quickly learned that putting in the additional time at another company doesn’t necessarily equal more money in your pocket.

Taylor originally began High Point Gutter as a side business while working as a technician in 2016. When the business began to take off, he was able to put in his notice and focus fully on the business two weeks prior to Thanksgiving.
