I got my ins bill with a $700 increase from last year. I decided no more..up $500 previous 2 years. After speaking with agent I upped deductible to $15,000 (which I’m prepared to cover) & got bill down from $3000 to $1255 yr. The house is paid for & I paid 30+ years with no claims. They don’t give you a break if you never claim but want to cancel you if you make a claim. It’s not an option for everyone but insurance has become such a scam. Liability only (400 yr)on my older model car.
